The Sane Asylum:
More experienced
than the budding massage therapist of the seventies, more confident than the
wide-eyed immigrant to California of the eighties studying
hypnotherapy - Mary Curro now thrives on seeing her clients either
empowered by hypnosis or soothed and healed by massage.
Her practice, The Sane Asylum,
in Portsmouth, Virginia (close to her alma mater, The College of William and
Mary), is devoted to helping clients discover the "Sane Asylum" within, where
they can see their excellence and bright spirit, make a decision to own it,
and begin to act accordingly. (She gives credit where it's due for the
name of her practice: "The Sane Asylum" was the name given to a
friend's classic Volkswagon van, outfitted like an RV, with all necessities,
plus 42 hours of Buckminster Fuller on videotape!)
A student of A Course In
Miracles since 1975, many of the principles of the Miracle Mind are shared, as
well as EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), Reiki and Touch for Health. CDs and
audiotapes are available, as are workshops for groups. For a dose of delightful sanity, contact Mary at
